I have decided to take my own advice. My spirit needs to have a creative outlet. Yes, learning to write well, demonstrating critically thinking: these are the things I was learning in college. Learning how to take all this stuff that is in my mind, and writing in it a way that will make readers want to know more is a very noble outcome of an education. Have I succeed I do not know yet.

Any way back to the creative out let. In all the moves I have made, and the motor home getting burned up, I managed to keep ahold of a box of beads. I used to bead all the time. Beadwork and crochet. I also found a crocheted bridal collar with peal beads. As I take a closer look in the bright sun shinning threw the window, it diffently could go for old. It is a fish weave net with roses and leaves attached around the edges. I’m going to wash it up and see what if it looks like I want to do anything with it. This old project has been taken out and worked on for many years. It was originally started for my mom. The last of many crochet items that were put away in her room. I always secretly resented that she never wore what I made. She wanted it but she never used it.

crystakl pendolumI also found my pendulum crystal. I have tried using wire to make necklaces out of the crystals. But, they always snagged my clothes. So, I decided to try crocheting. This was my first attempt. It turned out pretty good. Holding the cotton thread, intimately holding the crystal in my hand. It is so simple to transfer the energy that is needed into a crystal. This item is now for sale. I want to get back into my art, but I have very little to work with. If you are interested let me know.
